Meet The clinic Founder

Armiche Barreno

Armiche Barreno, originally from Tenerife in the Canary Islands, moved to England in 2010 with the dream of establishing his own therapy practice that focused particularly on Japanese medicine and natural healing techniques.

Since 2000, Armiche has been practising Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu – a form of Japanese martial arts. This discipline encompasses the ancient medicinal art of Amatsu Tatara, taught by the grand master Hatsumi Sensei. Over the years, his training sessions included glimpses into these healing techniques, sparking a profound respect for the holistic approach to health and wellness inherent in Amatsu Tatara.

Under the guidance of Chris Roworth, a direct student of Hatsumi Sensei, he has gained a comprehensive understanding of how to harmonise the body’s energies and promote natural healing.

Certified in Japanese Integrated Medicine since September 2021, Armiche is committed to providing personalised care that addresses the root cause of illness, fostering long-term health and wellness. When you come for treatment, you can expect:

• A warm welcome and a healing atmosphere
• Attentive listening and personalised care
• A comprehensive approach tailored to your needs

Alongside this, he has always had an interest in medicine, especially the aspects of martial arts that deal with injuries, pain and recovery. Over time, this interest grew stronger, especially as he became increasingly dissatisfied with his day job, as he wasn’t satisfying his ambition. Sitting for long hours also left him with back pain, which motivated him to explore alternative paths to healing besides the traditional surgical or painkiller route.

Although Armiche has successfully treated thousands of people with various musculoskeletal conditions, he specialises in several key areas of health:

• Pain and injuries (muscle or bone-related)
• Stress and anxiety
• Digestive and internal system issues
• Women’s health (hormone balance, menopause, fertility)

Armiche has successfully helped patients with frozen shoulder, back pain, sciatica, stiff neck, aching joints, migraines, menopause symptoms, insomnia, and mental trauma.

At Sanshin Health, he is committed to making a positive difference in your life by supporting your journey to optimal health. Join Armiche and the team as we explore the path to holistic health together, guided by the wisdom of ancient traditions and the innovation of modern integrative therapies.
